Spend as much time with your puppy as possible so that they don’t feel isolated or suffer from separation anxiety. Make sure your Frenchie gets lots of attention; you can even schedule which family member plays with them for the first few days. Get them toys, too!
But, many dogs are good at adapting to being alone for 8-9 hours while you are at work if they are provided with enough space to move around comfortably. The Basset Hound, French Bulldog, Chihuahua, and Pugs are typically the best breeds for being left alone for long periods of time.
They like to impress their owners, and they’ll always make you smile. Your French Bulldog will like to be the center of attention. For example, they’ll love to show off their tricks, such as “sit,” “stay,” and “drop”.
French Bulldogs will continue to slowly fill out anywhere between nine to fifteen months of age. They are considered fully grown around 12 to 14 months old, but may continue to put on muscle until they are two years old.
